What makes us human? Its not the brain stem, it isn’t our cerebellum or inner brain. It is our large frontal lobes. This cross section (also knows as the midsagittal cut) shows the inside of the brain, ventricles, cerebellum, brain stem, and cerebral cortex, white and grey brain matter, and all. Scientists still know so little about the brain- who knows what we will discover about ourselves in the future.
